Beti produces polyamide and polyester yarns. Their mission is to develop your daring ideas and turn them into reality. They see tradition and years of experience as a strong foundation for new adventures in product research and development. BETI - Belokranjska knitted fabric industry was founded in 1957 and they initially focused mainly on the production of curtain fabrics, cotton knitted fabrics and silk fabrics. Today Beti is one of the pioneers in dyed 100% recycled yarns. Already in 2014, their dyed recycled yarns made a debut at a World Football championship in Brazil. Beti Technologies' R&D team has developed DyeCare 1.0, an advanced dyed recycled yarn based on 100% recycled polyester - PET (plastic bottles). This technology results in direct savings of 51% in water, 21% in electricity and 34% in direct CO2 emissions. Beti's R&D team is registered with the Slovenian Research and Development Agency. On average, 40 to 50 new or improved yarns are developed each year - either in collaboration with or at the request of our customers, or based on market demand and their internal sustainability endeavours.
