Eva Garibaldi

Eva Garibaldi is a multidisciplinary artist and researcher based in the Netherlands. Her practice engages with broader global issues, addressing society's relationship with the climate crisis and geological time. Her work focuses on dissolving binary understandings of landscapes through the lenses of critical ecology and ecofeminism. Using an ecofeminist approach, she treats capitalistically unproductive landscapes—specifically wetlands—as spaces of resistance. She explores how environmental processes are perceived and mediated at bodily, geological, and planetary levels, utilizing spatial installation, experimental film, and speculative fiction.
