Maruša Mazej works as a self-employed cultural professional in the field of design. In addition to creating her own products, she teaches in the Unique Design department at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. In 2021, she graduated with distinction from her master's studies in Unique Design at ALUO. She exhibits both at home and abroad, working with both artistic and functional ceramics. Her playful practice is rich in textures and glazes, which shape her recognizable design language. She has mastered traditional ceramic techniques, which she sometimes consciously breaks while exploring.
