Nina Mršnik is a designer and illustrator. She studied industrial design at the IUAV University in Venice and visual communications and art in Aveiro, Portugal, before earning her master’s degree in product design from the Royal College of Art in London. Her work explores sustainable design, materials, and contemporary craft practices. Her past projects include the development of the Toasted furniture system made from recycled HDPE plastic and co-founding the Kobeiagi Kilims project, which bridged traditional Bosnian kilim weaving with contemporary pattern design. Alongside her design work, she also focuses on portrait drawing. She presents her work at international exhibitions and design events, and leads lectures and workshops both at home and abroad.
