Rok Oblak is a freelance cultural worker based in Ljubljana. After graduating in Industrial Design from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, he spent a few years in Vancouver, Canada, where he completed his Master of Applied Arts with the Holey Roket biomass cooker and was awarded the Governor of Canada's Gold Medal for Best Academic Achievement. Upon returning to Slovenia, he joined Prostorož and Trajna, two associations working in the field of social and ecologically oriented projects, and helped co-create the Krater production space. He is a co-founder of the Levo workshop, where he primarily works in the field of ceramic design under the name Salto Dionys. His expertise lies in the creation of wild clay products, and he also develops tools and devices to assist with manual work with diverse materials, including paper pulp, mushroom mycelium, and other biocomposites. He serves as a mentor at the Rog Centre, where he is developing a programme for new biomaterials in the Green Lab.
