Neža Petercais a Slovenian product designer specializing in technical backpacks and bags. She began her career in graphic design and, in 2010, co-founded the lifestyle backpack brand Blind Chic. Later, she shifted her focus to repairable, custom-made gear under the brand What Happened Outdoors. Neža combines craftsmanship, advanced materials like Dyneema®, and a deep understanding of user needs to create high-performance, sustainable, and durable backpacks.

What Happened Outdoors is a brand by climber and designer Neža Peterca, who develops backpacks tailored to the demands of modern alpinists based on her own experiences in climbing, mountaineering, and ski touring. The brand is recognized for its ultralight technical backpacks for mountain activities, centered on the idea that gear should provide the user with freedom of movement, reliability, and minimal unnecessary weight.
