A hempcrete object with no specific function.
Predmet is made from a biocomposite material from locally sourced hemp shives and natural hydraulic lime. As a biodegradable and carbon negative material, hempcrete has a noteworthy potential in sustainable construction. Slovenia currently lacks both producers of hempcrete and interest in building with this material. Predmet thus serves as the first step toward learning about the advantages of this material and helping it become a popular choice. Predmet objects are handmade in small batches without an intended purpose.
