A plate made of earth.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Field plate is crafted from soil taken from a cornfield in the Poljane Valley.
The dish for which the plate was designed is also prepared from corn and served on miniature ceramic garden beds. The culinary experience is rounded off by a handmade placemat made from corn husk paper pulp, featuring a poem printed in the local Poljane dialect—"Njiva" by poet Janez Ramoveš—and a fork/spatula crafted from the wood of the invasive honey locust tree, which can be found growing along the edges of the fields.
