PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This modular footwear collection was created in collaboration with weavers from the Prekmurje region.
The visual interpretation draws on an ancient, almost forgotten harvest custom from traditional European pagan culture: the crafting of woven ornaments or corn dollies from the final sheaf of the harvest, which were kept until the following spring to ensure a bountiful crop. It utilizes a modular design that allows for the replacement of individual damaged elements, which can then be composted or recycled.
