PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
In English, we say that people who hoard their money instead of investing it are "sitting on a pile of cash."

At the studio of designer Primož Jeza, they took the expression literally and designed a chair for the Bank of Slovenia made from shredded currency. They treated the money as waste that could be recycled. Through research into the utility of various composites made from paper pulp, they discovered a way to apply the shredded banknotes onto a base structure made of wood and polystyrene. At a time when money is becoming increasingly intangible, this concept deconstructs its material value.
