The series of wicker-wrapped water bottles combines three key elements: the significance of water, cultural heritage, and sustainable development.
It draws on traditional Slovenian basketry and the use of local, sustainable materials to protect glass, such as willow withes, corn husks, and rye straw. Willow is an exceptionally renewable resource, as only the new growth is harvested. Corn husks and rye straw are essentially byproducts of food crop cultivation. The product's modular design allows for easy repairs.
