Its production requires a minimal amount of raw materials, as it is composed of only as many parts or elements as are absolutely necessary.
The multi-layered, faceted surface of the aluminum reflector, made from cast and polished thin aluminum plates, "breaks" or redirects light from a single LED source, focusing it into a single point rather than scattering it across the entire illuminated area. This provides the user with more intense light exactly where it is needed.
