PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A prominent feature in many stories, the linden tree is not only a symbol, but also a plant with proven benefits for the mind and body. While on Bled Island, the artist was impressed by the linden blossom’s distinctive scent, so she collected a petal and cast it in silver.
Any combustible material can be cast in precious metal, transforming the ephemeral into the eternal. The natural plant form is so perfect that the artist tries to make only minimal changes. Using modern materials that reproduce textures with great precision and processes that are thousands of years old, she preserves forms that are identical to the natural ones, with the only difference being the material. A clasp system is attached to the back, allowing the silver cast to be worn as a brooch.
