Acro-bloks

Acro-Blocks is a versatile set that blurs the boundaries between various forms of free play, adapting to the child's evolving style and creativity. The pieces can be used as construction blocks, but they also resemble human characters or houses, allowing children to use their imagination to create figurines for imaginative play and to imagine different scenarios from everyday life. The purpose-designed pieces and unique elements offer endless possibilities of assembly, stacking, building and role-playing. The toy was designed with the Bauhaus principle ("form follows function") in mind, where the primary function is play. The design also adheres to the tradition of Slovenian toys created as sophisticated products as early as in the 1970s and 1980s.

The toy carries the message of the green country, the tradition of woodworking and innovation. It is made of local beech wood in an artisan workshop in Dolnje Zemono near Ilirska Bistrica, using existing technology. It can be produced either artisanally or industrially. The company aims to be plastic-free (the packaging is cardboard), circular (the wood waste is used for heating), sustainable (the products have unlimited use), close to the "zero km" principle (the wood, packaging and production come from Slovenia, the blades used to make the toys are made in Carinthia by Slovenian toolmakers) and environmentally friendly (the company has installed a solar power system in its production facility), and to maximise the use of wood. The product can be branded with a logo and promotional or presentation material can be added.

For the manufacture of the toy, we used the existing technology and can be made artisanal or industrial. In the company we strive for life without plastic (packaging is cardboard), circularity (wood residues are used for heating), sustainability (products have unlimited use), high efficiency of wood, approximation of the “kilometer 0” principle (wood, packaging, production are from Slovenia, blades for making toys are made in Carinthia with Slovenian knowledge of toolmakers) and green (we have a solar power plant installed in the production premises). The product can be equipped with the client's logo, as well as add promotional or presentation material to it.
