Felted Soap

Felt soap is a gift that is both useful and meaningful. Embroidery has traditionally been associated with gift-giving; embroidered tablecloths were often given by housewives as a token of gratitude for helping their family, e.g. to a doctor or to a veterinarian for caring for animals.
In addition to their aesthetic value, felt soaps have a strong utilitarian value. They are made from bars of hard soap surrounded by wool fibres. Under the microscope, the wool fibres have a scaly surface that gently exfoliates the skin, stimulates microcirculation and has an invigorating and regenerating effect on the skin. The natural fibre wrapper ensures that the soap does not slip out of your hands, while at the same time allowing for long lasting use as the product wears off slowly.
The felt soaps are made with natural Marseille soap, produced according to an ancient tradition. It is suitable for washing hands, face and body and for all skin types.

When the soap is used up, the remaining wool pad can be used as a cleaning cloth to polish surfaces, or the wool wrapper can be composted as the soap is made from natural ingredients.

The soap is made in Italy, while the wool is of Slovenian origin. It is wrapped in a band with information about the production and use of felted soap in Slovenian and English. The language can be changed upon request.

The embroidered felt soap can be personalised according to the customer's wishes; a stylised company logo, brand or other image representing an organisation can be embroidered on the soap. The colours of the embroidery are flexible. Once the design of the felted soap has been approved, the delivery time is 30 days for 100 soaps, or less or more depending on the quantity.

The price per item may vary depending on the embroidery design. The price quoted is for a soap with an embroidered heart. Embroidered soaps are also available as a set of four soaps, called a soap mosaic, packed in a wool felt basket.  The price quoted is for a soap with an embroidered carnation.
