The Caroto planting tool is a product of great symbolic and aesthetic value, as it calls for self-sufficiency and is made of natural materials. Its root is made of a type of Slovenian wood that is very tolerant of moisture and wear. The spike is made of copper, a metal with excellent properties that create favourable conditions for plant growth. The two cotton loops that pull the product out of the ground caress the gardener's hands and symbolise the leafy parts of plants.
Each Caroto contains 36 g of copper, 0.2 dm3 of wood, 0.9 m of cotton rope, 5 ml of linseed oil, two hours of work by several craftsmen and a timeless idea. Aimed at lovers of good form, who appreciate the value of craftsmanship and see gardening as a primordial contact with Mother Earth, the product reflects the artisan tradition of woodworking, local production, and the preservation and respect of nature.
