A Drop is a testament to the superb craftsmanship of glassblowers who use heat, breath and gravity to shape hot matter, freezing the breath at the moment when gravity, without touch, creates the perfect shape of a drop. It requires a combination of skill, expertise and inspiration, developed over many years and passed down through generations. A Drop is a contemporary tribute to 300 years of glassblowing tradition and heritage. The product also tells the story of the preciousness of clean drinking water and Slovenia as a country that (still) has it and is proud of it. A drop symbolises the cyclical nature of life, the transition between states and the constant journey. It is an awareness of the power of community when individuals, like tiny drops, come together to form a nation, a mighty river, a rippling sea. A drop as a drop of much needed water, a drop as a cry of joy, a sigh of remembrance or just a drop. Placed in pairs or groups of three, the product represents dialogue and symbolises communication and the openness of society.

The product is distinctive and original, and the technology is used to its fullest potential in terms of combining traditional and modern methods. The art of hand-blown glass has a long and rich tradition in Slovenia, but unfortunately, this is being lost. The artist employs a contemporary design approach to preserve and build on centuries-old knowledge and skills in hand-blowing and traditional glass cutting, translating them into a modern language. Glass is an infinitely recyclable material, and the products are sustainable and environmentally friendly.

The handmade packaging has an insert for two or three Drops and protects the product perfectly during transport. Its shape makes the product resistant to breakage, despite the material used. The packaging also contains a leaflet presenting the contents and a story about the product and the author. The leaflet and the packaging are customizable. Delivery is clearly indicated.
